Students create abstract, geometric acrylic paintings using a masking method that creates a mosaic like painting. Students will work with paint and brushes, explore composition, color, and negative space.
This project will give kids the opportunity to use problem solving skills by thinking through how to use negative and positive spaces to create their mosaic designs. Color mixing and composition will be explored as they make decisions about how to lay out their designs.
Commercial painters help families and businesses update the paint colors in their homes and offices both inside and out. These skilled tradespeople know all of the tricks to do the most professional job possible and complete jobs both big and small.
