Students will use a wax melting technique to create stained glass inspired artworks using wax paper and crayons. The finished designs will be wrapped around battery operated tea lights to allow light to shine through their colorful creations.
This project helps students understand the concept of translucency and light by working with transparent materials and observing how color is affected by light.
Lighting designers use color theory to help tell stories in theatre or create the right mood at events.
